We'll be in touch! Consider the type of sauna you are interested in (window size, how many people you would like to accommodate  and bench layout), Are you interested in electric or wood burning? 

At this stage we'll conduct an in-person or video site inspection to determine site prep and problem-solve for unique location and build considerations.

Time Frame

A typical build will take between 7-11 weeks from the deposit.

Once your questions are answered and the design is to your liking, we ask for a 75% deposit of the total project to be sent. Once this is received you will be notified of your build and estimated delivery date.

The remaining 25% will be required upon completion of your project prior to your sauna and cold plunge being shipped.

Sauna: 50 amp breaker with 6 gauge wire.  Make sure it is NOT a GFCI breaker.  Must be a regular breaker

Cold Plunge: Outdoor 120v 15 amp GFCI outlet.

Site Dimensions

The sauna site needs at least 8.5’ of width and 9’ of height to access. Consider surrounding trees and fences.

We deliver via crane. There must be a place for a crane to park within 80’ of the desired sauna location. Consider trees and fences.

Concrete slab

Crushed rock (at least 6” deep)

Blocks in correct locations with proper amount of base under the blocks

Concrete Pylons in the correct locations (must be past the frost line)

Prior to arrival we will need to make sure everything is ready for outdoor installation. We will have a full information sheet and be in communication prior to delivery.

Our team delivers and installs your sauna. You pay the 25% balance due on your sauna. If your sauna is electric, a local electrician will finish the installation.

How do I maintain my Nightjar products?

Remove any debris with a shop vac or a broom. We recommend rinsing down your sauna quarterly (or whenever it looks dirty) with a hose. A soft-bristled brush can be used to remove stubborn dirt or debris.

Do you have a warranty?

We pass along the manufacturer’s warranty on the Iki stoves. Both the wood-fired and electric stoves have a 2-year warranty, and the Huum control system has a 5-year warranty. We warranty all Nightjar material and craftsmanship for one year. The electrical connections and lighting also have a 1-year warranty. With proper care and maintenance, your sauna should last decades.

Are there different types of wood finishing?

Cedar is a robust exterior wood that lasts decades in the outdoors. Please note that untreated cedar will gracefully silver with age.

That said, you can apply a finish to the exterior of your sauna. Please let us know what type of finish you are looking for, and we will integrate it during the build process.

Due to the high temperature of the sauna and propensity for finishes to discolor, we do not apply any finishes to the interior.

Can you deliver a sauna to my state?

Yes! We are based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and ship throughout the contiguous United States up to a five hour drive. Get in touch if you live out of the radius.
