Most cold plunge companies designed a product. We've been in an argument with cold water for nine versions, and V10 is where the argument ends.
Every generation went into real backyards, real studios, real facilities — through Michigan winters, hundred-plunge weekends, and owners who tested things we hadn't imagined. Each version came back with lessons, and we folded every one into the next build. Here's what nine generations of iteration actually solved:
Filtration. Where the bay goes so you can reach the cartridge without tools. Which micron rating survives real bather loads. Why flow matters more than fineness. The CNC-routed Starboard bay top exists because generations of owners couldn't tell when a filter was loading — now it takes a glance.
Sanitation. How ozone actually behaves in cold water — cycle timing, contact, and exactly where its limits are. We tuned the system across generations of real installations until residential units run clean on ozone alone, then did something almost unheard of in this category: published the entire chemistry, including the high-traffic protocol. Holding cold. Insulation thickness, lid sealing, plumbing runs, chiller sizing — a hundred small decisions that separate a plunge that touches 39°F from one that lives there. It holds temperature through a Texas August and a Michigan January, outdoors, without flinching.
Running forever. The pump has no off switch — a decision earned across generations of freeze data and water quality outcomes. Continuous circulation keeps water polished and pipes safe at any temperature. Every component is chosen for the machine that never stops: commercial chiller, rust-free aluminum frame, stainless tub, marine-minded plumbing.
Being serviced. Early generations taught us where hands actually need to go. The mechanical bay puts every serviceable part within reach, uses standard cartridges and fittings, and can be maintained by any spa tech — though the point of nine generations of refinement is that it rarely needs to be.
Being beautiful. From the first version, one conviction never changed: wellness equipment shouldn't look like equipment. Grade A cedar, hand-finished, matched to our saunas — the plunge people walk up to and touch before they know what it is.
